Title: "Electro and Millivolt"
At least 9 robots in one !!!

Comment:: I set out to make a lidded jug. The idea was to make a lid so the spout didn't show. It just took on a life of it's own from the moment I set the lid on the freshly thrown jug.
Must have been some magic in that old clay lid I found.... No. that was Frosty The Snowman.
There are at least 9 different robots that can be made with the two parts. There is Electro alone with a face on front and back. With the addition of Millibvolt (the lid) the possibilities grow tremendously. Millivolt can be displayed at least three different ways on the jug. See how many different robots you can make.

This jug came out great.
He was all hand-thrown and sculpted. Then he was glazed with a metallic, grungy, bronze/black lava glaze that came out especially nice. There are lots of metallic flashed areas. He was high-fired. Then he was refired with metallic lusters to accentuate the old space look. The inside is glazed with a lead-free, food safe glaze. The only parts that aren't clay are a coil of copper, a glass fuse and two melted marbles.

I spent the last 7 years doing junk sculpture so this guy is kind of a natural extension of that process except he is made of clay pieces instead of metal.

Size: He stands 13" tall and is 12" wide. He is made of high-fire stoneware and the glaze is handmade by me . The interior is glazed with a food safe lead free glaze.

Medium: Stoneware

Materials and Process: Hand thrown and sculpted stoneware, and high fire glaze. Refired for luster glazes.

Signed: Yes. Artist signed, numbered and dated with the year produced.

Original: Entirely handmade using no molds. Each jug is an original.
Comes with a Certificate of originality.
