Title: " Margarita Bird 1"

Comment:: Any "Parrot Heads" out there? I made a pair of these (only much larger) as sculptures a few years back . They were bride and groom figures for a wedding of a couple of die-hard Jimmy Buffet fans. I received photos of the wedding and they were a hit. Guests were dancing with them and generally acting like you would expect from true "Parrot Heads. This guy has had just the right amount of Margaritas as you can tell by his facial expression . He is made of hand thrown, high fire stoneware, and is fully functional. He is glazed with several glazes which are lead free and food safe.
I made the margarita with resin and it looks just like the real thing. Right down to the clear glitter "salt" on the rim of the antique glass. He or she even has it's party feathers on for the occassion. Hmmmm, a Margarita would taste good about now.
