:::: One of the last 1000 Major Jugs By a lifetime Potter/Sculptor ::::

Comment: : It was one of those dreamy days. I was working in the garden while hawks and buzzards floated effortlessly on the gentle breeze. It was the kind of day when you wish you could sprout feathers and join them. I had this jug thrown and setting in the studio (making up it's mind what it wanted to be). I gave him some feathers for a beard and eyebrows. He is flapping his fingers foer all he's worth but hasn't lifted off yet.. I gave him a sky turquoise glaze to help all I could. If you were to fill him with Uncle John's finest corn squeezins then sip slowly on a nice spring day while you watch the birds you might just lift off yourself.
